Warren Mayor Fouts fires police commissioner, appoints Bill Dwyer
WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) - Warren Mayor Jim Fouts has fired police commissioner Jere Green.
According to sources, Fouts is replacing Green with Bill Dwyer, an Oakland County Commissioner.
The move came Friday with Green fired earlier in the day.
Dwyer retired in 2010 as the Warren police commissioner, served as Farmington Hill police chief for 23 years and prior to that, was a 23 year member of the Detroit Police Department.
