What makes up the $55 Foie Gras burger in Birmingham?

If you win the Powerball jackpot,  you'll have no problem buying the latest high-end hamburger in Birmingham.

The Townsend Hotel's Rugby Grille has a $55 hamburger on the menu.

Chef Damian Yopek created the Foie Gras Burger.  So - what makes an eight-ounce burger worth $55? A lot of very expensive ingredients.

"Truffles, foie gras, parmesan aioli, wagyu patty, braised short rib, brioche bread," Yopek said.

When Chef Yopek joined the Rugby Grille in July, he initially came up with a $500 hamburger, but wanted something more "approachable".

He says the 55-dollar burger became an instant hit.
