White Castle shooting leaves 1 man shot and 2 children injured

Police say guns were fired at a White Castle near Joy Rd. and Greenfield on the city’s west side Friday evening around 7:00 p.m. 

A man was struck by one of the bullets inside his vehicle and two children were hurt by broken glass, authorities say. 

A witness tells FOX 2 he heard three gunshots and then he saw the victim take off through the parking lot towards a nail salon.

Police say the suspect then ran down Joy Rd. 

Police tell us that the victim is a 29-year-old man and several children were with him in his minivan. The children were not seriously injured and there is no information regarding the victim’s current condition at this time. 

The suspect has not been caught yet.
