Woman flips car driving wrong way on Ford Road, police say alcohol was a factor
WESTLAND, Mich. (WJBK) - A woman was left in critical condition after driving the wrong way down Ford Road in Westland early Wednesday morning.
Around 4:30 a.m., a 47-year-old woman was driving the wrong way down Ford.
The woman was headed eastbound in the westbound lanes when she lost control of the vehicle.
She hit a tree and her car flipped over on its top.
Officers believe alcohol was a factor.
Ford was shut down at Carlson and Wayne.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash to discover how fast the driver was going and other details.
