DETROIT (WJBK) - A postal service worker in Detroit made a terrible discovery while delivering mail.
An unresponsive woman was found outside of a parked car on Hoover Street near 6 mile.
She was found Saturday morning around 11 a.m. The woman's car was running at the time, and the door was left open.
Around that same time neighbors reported seeing police and a medical examiner. Neighbors in the area say the woman rarely had any visitors but would often make sure she was looked after.
"Somebody has to know about this, they have to know because she has nobody to visit her and maybe if they see this then someone can come do something, she's laying down there and nobody knows, that's not right," neighbor Lodesha Estesell said.
Authorities aren't commenting yet on the cause of the woman's death.
