Woman hit by semi truck in Lincoln Park

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a semi truck in Lincoln Park.

The accident happened at Southfield Road and River Drive. Two lanes of Southfield Road have been blocked off for most of Thursday morning as investigators remain on scene. The accident happened around 9 a.m.

We're told the woman is in her 50s. Police have not given her name.

We're told she was riding her bike and may have pulled out in front of the semi. She was rushed to Oakwood Hospital. At last check, she remained in critical condition.
