Woman left with broken nose after fending off friend's attackers

According to police, the suspects pulled up next to the victims when someone jumped out of the car and started attacking the group walking. There is no word as to what caused the attack.

The incident happened between Joseph Campau and Brombach around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

The suspects kicked and punched the male victim in the head, then robbed him before being scared off by a person who yelled, "i've got your license plate number."

Ari Hampton who lives in the area of where the attack happened says, "there was so much blood, just a pile of it. The suspects drove off so fast."

No one was able to get a good look at the suspects or their vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital, but we are told she will make a full recovery.

Hampton adds, " I hope they get them. This doesn't need to happen. We need to band together, this is too much for our community."

Police say they're investigating.
