No 12 Michigan Wolverines Tame the Nittany Lions, 28-16
STATE COLLEGE, Pennsylvania -- The sun was shining for the tenth meeting in Happy Valley between the University of Michigan Wolverines and the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions. Michigan was victorious over Penn State, 28-16. The Team was driven by the passion of Coach Harbaugh, according to Rudock and Butt, "everyone on the team would follow him no matter... follow him into the fire... He has pushed us to our limit, when we face adversity, we can overcome it a little easier."
PSU also scored first in the second quarter with a 25 yard TD pass. Michigan once again answered with an 11 yard TD pass from Rudock to Darboh. Allen with the extra point.
Sione Houma produced the only TD points in the third quarter on a one yard run. Allen with the extra point.
PSU scored two more times in the fourth quarter with a 24 yard and an 18 yard field goal. Michigan, once again, answered with a De'Veon Smith running 1 yard TD. Allen with the extra point making him 4 for 4 on PAT.
In Happy Valley the Team helmets still reflect the love this team has for Chad Carr. However, Columbus was also showing the love to Chad Carr. The Michigan State Spartans and Ohio State Buckeyes gave honor to Chad by wearing decals for the Chad Tough Foundation.
