REPORT: Ish Smith & Pistons Agree on Three-Year Deal

MLive.com reported Friday that the Detroit Pistons and free-agent point guard Ish Smith have agreed on a three-year, 18 million dollar deal.

Smith, 27, 6'0", 175 pounds, is an NBA journeyman from Wake Forest and the Pistons will be his 10th team since 2010.  He started 50 games for the Philadelphia 76ers last season averaging 14.7 points, 7.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds.  in 323 career NBA games, Smith has an average of 5.8 points per game, 3.3 assists & .401 field goal percentage.

Smith is expected to replace Steve Blake as the back-up point guard to Reggie Jackson.

This deal can't officially be signed until July 7th.
