Sources tell FOX 2's Jennifer Hammond: Tigers Acquire LHP Justin Wilson from Yankees
FOX 2's Jennifer Hammond reports sources tell her that the Tigers have picked up another key reliever.
Wilson, 28, 6'2", 205 pounds, had a 3.10 ERA in 74 appearances for the Yankees last season. He also had a 5-0 record.
The lefty reliever has played in four major league seasons -- the first three with Pittsburgh -- and has a career 3.03 ERA in 210 appearances and a 14-5 record. The Tigers have also added Francisco Rodriguez and Mark Lowe to the bullpen this off-season.
