A Detroit funeral home is paying for services to bury a 7-year-old boy killed in a drunk driving crash over the weekend, while Lou's Deli, the boy's favorite restaurant, donated $2,500 to help his family. Jerome Coleman Jr. was killed when a speeding and drunk driver ran a red light at 7 Mile and Mound, crashing into his family's minivan.

Holly tornado damages American Legion

An American Legion in Holly suffered damage after a rare November tornado touched down in the area on Sunday night. At first, those who got to the building on Monday thought someone had vandalized the building.

EF-0 tornado causes disruptions for Veterans Day services in Holly

Officials with the National Weather Service confirmed the tornado that hit Holly was an EF-0, the lowest on the scale. The NWS said peak winds reached 70 mph as the tornado moved through. It started in a wooded marshland before dissipating near Martha and Washington streets.

Crows gathered across metro Detroit to honor those who served for the US. In the early morning hours, a crowd gathered at the Detroit-Wayne Joint Building Authority for a flag raising at the Veterans Memorial Plaza.
