Michigan officials push for statewide water shutoff protection bills

The bills would include shutoff protections and a statewide water residential affordability program to "maintain water service with monthly bills limited to no more than 3% of their income," according to a news release. "The coalition is committed to using the new program to support residents and the municipal water systems that serve them."

Jennifer Crumbley trial deliberations head to 2nd day

A jury was unable to reach a verdict in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Jennifer Crumbley following one day of deliberations. They did, however, ask two interesting questions that may provide a window into what the jurors are considering during their deliberations.

United States military officials said strikes hit 85 targets late Friday in seven locations throughout Syria and Iraq in retaliation for a drone strike in Jordan in late January that killed three U.S. service members and wounded dozens. On Saturday, 36 Houthi sites in Yemen were said to be struck, in operation with Britain. Wayne State Professor Saeed Khan and FOX 2's Hilary Golston spoke about it.

MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer dies at 75

Kramer died Friday at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, according to Jason Heath, a close friend and executive director of Kramer?s nonprofit Jail Guitar Doors. Heath said the cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
