From tariffs to EV mandates, as the Detroit Auto Show continues on, there is a big emphasis on tackling an issue plaguing the entire auto industry: uncertainty. The topic is on the top of nearly everyone’s mind for industry days on the showroom floor.

A centerpiece of the night was the automaker showing off the updated Mustang Dark Horse lineup for this year, including the all-new supercharged edition. It’s considered the spiritual successor to the iconic Shelby GT500.

On Wednesday, Chesterfield Township police say they were called out to 26 Mile Road, west of I-94 for a head-on collision that left multiple people injured. Investigators say the two vehicles affected collided with each other on EB 26 Mile Rd.

Speaking from the auto show stage inside Huntington Place, the governor called for stability in the industry, claiming manufacturing as a whole in the U.S. has been shrinking for nine months and counting. As for Michigan, she touted the fact that in 2025, two million vehicles will be built here in this state, citing more investments in auto plants from Stellantis and GM increasing production of gas-powered cars.
