We are off to a comfortably cool start this Sunday morning with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Highs this afternoon should make it into the 70s under partly sunny skies. We will keep things nice and dry from start to finish today. A major warm up is also expected come Tuesday with highs in the 90s. Enjoy today and Monday because by Wednesday, the remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will impact us in metro Detroit with rain, storms and lots of wind.

While PURELL® Hand Sanitizer contains 70% alcohol and is considered flammable, it will not self-ignite. Even under extremely high temperatures, a high concentration of ethanol vapors and an ignition source (such as a spark or flame) would need to be present to cause a fire, not an explosion. In other words, if you plan on using hand sanitizer, make sure you are NOT using it close to a flame such as a cigarette, grill or candle which CAN be a fire hazard. Sunny Saturday with Blazing Heat Next Week

We are off to a nice and mild start this morning with some patchy fog in the area. Temperatures will eventually warm from the 60s through the 70s and top out around 80 degrees this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. High pressure will drag down cooler air by Sunday meaning highs should only make it into the mid 70s. It will still be a comfortable end to your workweek, but if you plan on heading out on one of our many lakes, it may be a little cool. Though this weekend looks great, 90 degree heat is back by Tuesday.
