Mostly sunny and near 80 this afternoon as the warmth builds.

There's an off chance for a stray shower Saturday, but otherwise it's smooth sailing through the weekend with highs around 80.

Our September warm-up carries us right into next week.

Highs stay above average for the foreseeable future.
