More sun will counteract continuing cold ahead of warmer temperatures this weekend

(FOX 2) - The cold keeps coming across Southeast Michigan, but the sun will do its best to counter the chill.

High pressure builds in shifting the wind out of the Northeast which will keep areas along the Lake Huron shoreline even cooler. 

High pressure sticks with us through the weekend leading to a fantastic feel.

And the heat builds further next week.
