'Last Chance U's Brittany Wagner to advise Madison Heights schools

A "Last Chance U" star is bringing her academic coaching talents to Madison Heights this fall.

It's a popular docu-series on Netflix based at EMCC in Scooba, Miss., that has everyone talking.

Now in its second season, the series takes a look a professional football's most fertile recruiting ground - a place where young adults have amazing skills, but have a checkered past.

Series star Brittany Wagner joined FOX 2 with Randy Speck, superintendent for the Madison Heights School District.

With Brittany's professional background with academic coaching, she is teaming up with the Madison Heights School District to help build a different kind of team.
