4-person rowing team capsizes in Detroit River

A four-person rowing team capsized on the Detroit River on Friday evening, officials say.

The four young men were transported to a hospital for examination, according to the US Coast Guard Belle Isle station.

They were rescued by the safety boat riding along next to them and the coast guard took them from that boat to be taken to the hospital.

Officials say the rowers suffered from hypothermia but are expected to be OK.
