Armed home invaders break into EMU students' house
YPSILANTI, Mich. (WJBK) -
Several students in an off-campus home near Eastern Michigan's campus were robbed at gunpoint. It happened just as students are getting ready to move in for the new school year.
"They had a gun pointed at my man's head," said Jason Taylor.
"People were trying to come in the house," Taylor said.
More like breaking in - two young suspects, just after midnight Tuesday. Taylor, who grabbed a baseball bat, thought he could help his roommate, Zach.
"I heard gunshots," Taylor said. "So I looked, and I saw there were gunshots so I dropped the weapon I had.
"They had my roommate Ryan on the floor with a gun pointed at his head asking for money. Zach gave him the money and boom they flew out the back door."
Luckily, no one was hurt.
