NORTHVILLE, Mich. (WJBK) - UPDATE 2:00p.m. Thursday: The boil water advisory in the City of Northville has been lifted. Repairs are still ongoing but should not affect the water supply.
A boil water advisory is in effect for Northville as the city works on some water main repairs.
The Water Authority is working on a main line that feeds into the city's water system.
The boil water advisory went into effect at 11:30 Wednesday night and is expected to last until Friday until 11:30 p.m.
Residents and businesses should boil water from the tap before drinking or cooking with it.
Showering is okay as long as you don't drink the water.
