Dearborn police arrest 3 suspects in 'scary clown' incidents

DEARBORN, MIch. (WJBK) - Three suspects have been arrested in "scary clown incidents" according to the Dearborn police.
The arrests are in connection to two incidents and formal charges have not been announced yet. The department says it is investigating several other unfounded reports of "scary clowns."

The Dearborn Police Department is asking citizens to continue to call with any concerns regarding these types of incidents.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, "these incidents create unnecessary hysteria within our community and threats and will not be tolerated. The Dearborn Police Department will pursue charges against any individual that deliberately commits an act that is designed to create fear or panic among our citizens."
