Elderly woman found, after missing from local hospital

Detroit Police found 80-year-old Reoma Shufford Wednesday morning, a day after she went missing.

Detroit Police say Shufford was dropped off for regular treatment at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.

When it was time for her to be picked up by her transportation service, she never appeared.

She was last captured on security's video footage, wheeling herself away from the hospital southbound on Poe Street at about 7:43 p.m.

Reoma is confined to a wheelchair and suffers from dementia and other health related concerns.

Detroit Police found her a couple miles away from the hospital.  She appears to be fine but will be taken to the hospital for observation.
