Homeless man pleads no contest in rape of 11-year-old girl
HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - A homeless man accused of raping an 11-year-old girl pleaded no contest in court.
Ramirez Dewberry is accused of attacking a young girl in January in Highland Park.
Police say Dewberry grabbed the young girl while she was on her way to school, dragged her inside a vacant home and assaulted her.
Dewberry is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
He's expected to be sentenced to 25 years in prison.
