Man accused in recent Greektown shooting charged with intent to murder

A Farmington man was arraigned Saturday morning for his connection to a Greektown shooting. 

Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Delano Ward ,26, with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodly harm, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm.

The shooting happened Sunday around 11:50 p.m. near Beaubien and Monroe.

Authorities say it is alleged that Ward pulled a handgun out of his pocket, shot, and wounded three men. Ward then fled from the scene on foot. 

The three men received medical treatment for their injuries at local hospitals and are expected to be okay. 

Ward was eventually taken into custody that following Wednesday. 

Police haven't given a reason for why the shooting may have happened.
