Man finds pipe bomb on porch in Pontiac
PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) - Officials investigated a pipe bomb in Pontiac after a man found the object on his front porch Monday morning.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, a man reported opening his front door to find a pipe bomb on the porch of his home on the 30 block of Evelyn.
The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad was requested to assist the Oakland County Sheriff's Office and tweeted around 2:30 p.m. Monday that the object was removed and will be disposed of at a later date.
