Man robs Waterford store at gunpoint, gets less than $100

The Waterford Police Department has released surveillance video of a man who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint and made off with less than $100.

The armed robbery happened at the 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of Scott Lake Road on July 13th. According to the Waterford Police Department, the man walked into the convenience store around 12:45 that morning with a gun and a white mask over his face and white gloves on his hands.

He pointed the gun at the clerk and told him to open the register drawer. Then he told him to put the money into a brown bag.

The employee did exactly as he was told and gave the man all the money in the drawer before the suspect ran off with the cash.

Police said it was less than $100. 

The suspect is described as a white man with blue eyes and light brown eyebrows. He was wearing a green hoodie, dark pants, gloves, and the mask over his face.
