New Little Caesars HQ downtown unveils pizza-shaped windows

The first of 102 pieces of triangular, folded glass resembling a slice of a pizza were installed at the new Little Caesars world headquarters on Monday.

"Little Caesars, now in its 59th year in business, was built on innovation. And true to this spirit, we are very excited to add this completely new and innovative piece of architecture to Detroit's skyline," said Chris Ilitch, president and CEO of Ilitch Holdings.

The future home to 700 employees will be a 9-story building located at the corner of Woodward and Columbia and the employees have their fingerprints all over the place.

"Literally, we had every colleague and employee sign the last beam that went up in the building. So their signatures are here and certainly they're helping us build the place," said Little Caesars President and CEO David Scrivano. "We have many work groups that have come together."

After he building is complete in the summer of 2018, they will host public tours for the first year.
