Pickup split in half after crashing into truck with snowplow in Michigan's Upper Peninsula

A driver's pickup truck was split in half after he lost control and hit another pickup with a snowplow Tuesday in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

What we know:

Michigan State Police said the driver of the truck that was split was traveling south on M-26 near Junction Road in Osceola Township when he lost control and started sliding sideways just before 7:50 p.m. That driver's truck crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck that was traveling north.

Semi-truck crash leads to chain-reaction crashes on I-94 in southwest Michigan

Six semi-trucks and 10 passenger vehicles were involved in chain-reaction pileups after a semi-crash on I-94 in Southwest Michigan.

Both drivers and a passenger in the truck with the plow were both taken to a hospital. 

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. 

What we don't know:

The conditions of the drivers and passenger are unknown.
