Sales & Member Relations Support Representative

The Sales & Member Relations Support Representative will work within both the Member Relations and Sales groups that provide membership services, sales, professional development and engagement to both new, existing, and potential Merit Members, and will include the following duties:

  • Work with Merit's Member Relations team to develop Member Engagement Documents.  
  • Gather information on potential Members targeted by Member Relations Managers and Sales Managers.  
  • Conduct research on service markets, and gather information on use cases and target audiences for services.  
  • Help with research in advance of sales presentation meetings and Member Relations engagement meetings.  
  • Assemble materials and handouts and assist with hosting details as required.  
  • Assist with database entry and database organization.  
  • Review existing mailing lists to ensure integrity of electronic communication recipient lists and process list modifications as needed.  
  • Assist with large postal mailings.  
  • Update Salesforce CRM with information for outbound Sales Managers and Member Relations Managers, as well as entering event attendee information and generating call list for Sales Managers.  
  • Assist with event registration and logistics, e.g. Merit Member Conference, Summit, and other events as needed.  
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting as needed.  
  • Provide support to Inside Sales Manager and E-rate Coordinator on various projects and tasks.  
  • Provide support to Sales and Member Relations team for Proposal (RFP) responses for service solutions including: Internet, Voice, Managed Firewall, Managed Wireless, and other services.  
  • Assist with scheduling various meetings and record meeting-minutes as needed.
