Water main break floods Corktown neighborhood

A huge water main break flooded a Corktown neighborhood Tuesday.

Water at one point was halfway up to the tires of many cars parked on Wabash Street, where flooding was the greatest.

"It's very bad. None of us are even able to get to our cars right now; the water line is above the door. So, not too happy about it," said Mike Ashbaugh who lives on the street.

Crews are still working to determine the source of the problem before it can be fixed. They've alreaded waded through the calf-deep mess to unclog nearby storm drains.

The water has begun to recede quite a bit over the morning hours.
