Woman hospitalized after car plunges over huge hill in Canada

ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland (WJBK) - A 20-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when her car plunged off a cliff in Canada.

Police say the woman was somehow ejected from the car as it crashed down the cliff.

Authorities say the driver drove through a gate at the popular site before the crash happened. This happened at Signal Hill cliff in St. John's, Canada, which is near the eastern coast.

She was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and the vehicle has been recovered.
