Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a bipartisan bill permanently designating May as Chaldean American Month.  To celebrate, Martin Manna, President of the Chaldean Chamber, and cookbook author and YouTube cooking channel host Samira Cholagh joined us in the Fox 2 kitchen. Healing through trauma-informed yoga

A unique partnership in Auburn Hills is helping people heal from trauma through movement and mindfulness. At Branches, a service of Havenwyck Hospital, patients are using yoga and breathing techniques to reduce stress and build coping skills. The program, in collaboration with the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation, is designed to help patients feel more grounded, connected, and resilient—both during treatment and beyond.

"Cooking with Comedians" is a new show debuting May 1 on Tubi, Amazon, and YouTube. Two comedians go head-to-head to recreate a dish from a Detroit chef, usually with very questionable cooking skills. Another comedian heckles them while the chef steps in to judge the dishes. Creator and Producer Amber Ewing and Comedian Kevin Johnson gave us a preview of the show.
