Tigers agree to minor league contract with Beckham

DETROIT (AP) - Infielder Gordon Beckham agreed to a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers and was invited to major league spring training. If Beckham is added to the 40-man roster, he would get a one-year contract paying $700,000 while in the majors and $138,000 while in the minors. Bonamego back with Lions as special teams coordinator

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) - Former Central Michigan coach John Bonamego is returning to the Detroit Lions. The Lions announced Tuesday that they have hired Bonamego as special teams coordinator. That's the same position he held with the Lions before becoming CMU's coach for the past four seasons. Bonamego's tenure at CMU ended when the team went 1-11 in 2018.
