Community activists and Metro Detroit leaders in Ann Arbor are fighting mad after yet another ICE arrest in public this morning. It happened right outside a children’s daycare near downtown.

Holstein, also known as "Huntxy," was the one getting chased for his chain. He says he’s a former gamer who has now transitioned into a content creator. He says he and two other creators went downtown with the intention of making videos while wearing flashy jewelry and chains.

Ann Arbor police say it all happened around 9 a.m. in the area of Beakes Street and Fifth Avenue. Mayor Christopher Taylor provided several details on social media and said ICE conducted a "high-risk" stop, with agents sealing off a car using multiple vehicles while approaching with guns drawn.
