Michigan educators convene as antisemitism skyrockets 127% across state

According to recent data, antisemitic incidents have surged to record highs in Michigan and across the country. In 2024, Michigan saw 252 antisemitic incidents – a 127% increase from 2022. In 2023, the University of Michigan was one of the top campuses for antisemitic activity, with 15 incidents recorded. Leland House to pay DTE debt to keep tenants in place

After an emergency court hearing the Leland House owners and DTE reached an agreement that will allow for an outstanding utility bill to be paid and for tenants to remain in their homes. More than three dozen tenants were going to be forced to move if this agreement was not reached.
