Also, there is a chance for heavy showers and thunderstorms this afternoon mainly between 2pm and 6pm. Stay weather aware! Highs should top out in the low to mid 90s. A slight cool down is on the way by midweek.

After some patchy morning fog burns off, look for temperatures to soar into the 80s and eventually top out in the low to mid 90s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures for the month of July have averaged way above normal and today, Sunday and Monday will be no exception. We are hot and humid today with perhaps a few showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. Please make sure you are staying well hydrated and drinking plenty of water.
