Salvation Army Radiothon Expands to 24-Hour Fundraiser

The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit's 32nd Annual Bed & Bread Club Radiothon is expanding to a 24-hour event this year in an effort to fight hunger and homelessness. The Salvation Army's fundraising goal of $1.4 million will help the nonprofit continue serving more than 1.4 million meals and providing more than 133,000 nights of shelter throughout the year.

The event will kick off at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21 on News/Talk 760 WJR. The 32nd annual Bed & Bread Club Radiothon will switch to the live broadcast at 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 from a brand-new venue - One Campus Martius in the heart of Detroit.
