Dearborn barricaded woman situation resolved peacefully

DEARBORN (WJBK) - WEB UPDATE: Dearborn police have confirmed that a barricaded situation with a woman has been resolved peacefully.

The woman is not under arrest, but was taken in for questioning by officers. Police say it was a domestic situation but would not explain further.

Crisis negotiators had been trying to talk to a barricaded woman in Dearborn Wednesday afternoon.

Police believed her to be armed and holed up inside a room.  There had been no reason given as to why she is distraught. Nobody else was believed to be inside the house. 

The Dearborn Police Department were advising residents to stay clear of the 3100 block of Willow, near Southfield and Outer Drive.

Side streets in and around the area have been blocked by police.
