Detroit police find missing brother and sister safe with relative

Detroit Police have found a missing brother and sister safe Friday morning. Police say the siblings were with a relative, and had been with that relative the entire time.

The father of 1-year-old Marcia Cox and 3-year-old Zamar Cox contacted police late Thursday night saying he hadn't seen them for days. The father had claimed that he dropped them off Tuesday night, but the mother claimed that didn't happen and that she hadn't seen the kids since then either.

Police say the mother had actually dropped the kids off to the relative.

Police say the kids are safe and are going to the hospital to get checked out as a precaution.
