Detroit police host active shooter seminar for church leaders

Churches and temples are intended for prayer.
But the faithful admit that prayer won't stop a bullet or a mass shooting. That's why several preachers, pastors, and deacons attended a workshop Wednesday held by Detroit police.
The officers showed them the safety measures they can take now  in case something happens.

One suggestion includes patrolling parking lots and doors to keep an eye out for anyone suspicious coming into the church.

Many faith leaders say that they must balance opening the doors of the church to the faithful while at the same time, keeping dangerous people out.
