Three months after FBI agents raided Taylor City Hall, agents made a second visit two weeks ago as the ongoing public corruption investigation into city business and Mayor Rick Sollars continued.

"I can confirm they were here doing their due diligence," said Karl Ziomek, City of Taylor spokesman.

But city officials made it clear that the mystery continues as to what this investigation is all about.

"We don't get reports on what they are doing or anything like that, but they were here (for an) ongoing investigation," Ziomek said. "They haven't come to a conclusion. We've cooperated with them since day one and will continue to do so."

But City Hall is not the only recent stop for FBI agents as this investigation continues. Taylor businessman Hadir Altoon's home in West Bloomfield Township was also raided.

No one answered the door, so FOX 2 went to Taylor to catch up with Mr. Altoon at his business, a market on North Line and Beech Daly. But when Fox 2 went inside to speak to Altoon about the raids, he was not there.

So FOX 2 tried to get answers from city leaders regarding this FBI investigation that's expanding.

"The FBI has its job to do, there hasn't been anything coming from them," Ziomek said. "Heaven knows, we don't know anything either."

As the investigation continues city leaders say they're focused on the residents and that means helping those impacted by the recent flood.

"We have DPW workers out there around the clock trying to get things back to normal, we have a special curbside pickup going on this Saturday," Ziomek said.

The city's spokesperson also says residents should understand that despite this investigation, things are getting done at city hall and the city and the mayor continues to do his job.
