Find a "lucky" penny worth $1,000

DETROIT - One penny could be worth $1,000, but you have to find that "Lucky Penny."

“I might go to Chicago and see what’s over there.  I don't know if it’s over here in Detroit anywhere."

Or you could go to New York, Los Angeles, Miami or any one of 10 cities to find 10 lucky pennies in each city, worth 100,000 pennies.

You redeem them online at allyluckypenny.com. It’s a promotion by Ally Bank, an online bank headquartered in Detroit to promote saving money.

But you have to find those "lucky pennies." There are clues on social media.
