Man facing felony charges after social media police threats
DETROIT (WJBK) - A man accused of making threats against Detroit police on social media is now facing charges.
Speaking to the press, attorney general Bill Schuette announced felony charges would be made against Nheru Littleton.
The threats were allegedly posted on social media by Littleton on July 8-9, 2016 and included the following: "F them racist a white cops!!! Kill them ALL!!! Black Lives Matter!!! Black people should start killing all white cops just like they are killing us!!! Then and only then will this s stop!! Why you ask? Because white people will be dropping like flies!!!"
"Why are we worried about threats? A threat to kill a police officer is not only a threat against all of us; we take threats seriously. This is why we're doing what we're doing today," Craig said at the conference.
Littleton will be charged with making a terrorist threat and using a computer to commit a crime.
He is one of four people who have been arrested after threatening to kill Detroit officers.
