'Police alarm' installed in Bloomfield Hills High School

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (WJBK) - It looks like a fire alarm, but it serves a much different purpose.
New "police alarms" have been installed throughout Bloomfield Hills High School. This high-tech system works much like a fire alarm system, with multiple pull stations throughout the building.
At the first sign of an emergency, any individual can activate the system, alerting everyone of danger and initiating safety procedures. Local law enforcement is also notified with the alarm is pulled.
The system also includes blue strobe lights and an audio system.
