Police search for suspect who tied up woman in Rocehster Hills home invasion
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich (WJBK) - Officials in Oakland County are searching for a man they say tied up a woman during a home invasion Tuesday.
The home invasion happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, officials say, at a home in the area of Crooks Rd and Auburn.
According to law enforcement, a 77-year-old woman was bound with tape inside her home during a home invasion. The Oakland County Sheriff said the woman was also blindfolded as the man searched the home.
Once the man left, she was able to free herself and go to a neighbor's and call 911.
The victim described the man as tall, black, in his 20s, wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants. She said he implied that he was carrying a weapon but she did not say if she saw one.
