Rochester Hills man turns self in claims to have killed wife

A 41-year old woman is found dead inside her Rochester Hills home Monday and her husband says he did it.

The 39-year-old man is in custody after turning himself into authorities admitting that he killed her.

The woman's brother-in-law called 911 saying he feared she was dead. When deputies arrived at the home in the 3400 block of Emmons Avenue they found the victim lying on the couch.

The woman's husband, who had walked into a sheriff substation to confess, is being held in the Oakland County jail.

Investigators are waiting for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
