Search expanded for missing Ohio mom to Detroit area

(WJBK) - Authorities say a woman who has been missing from Ohio for several weeks could be in the metro Detroit area.

Roaa S Al Dhannoon was last seen at her Edgewater, Ohio apartment during the night of October 16, 2016. The 24-year-old was reported missing by a family member three days later.

Her loved ones are suspicious of her disappearance because she has a young child, and they say it is out of character for her to be away from the child.

Roaa has significant family and friend relationships in the Detroit and Dearborn areas, so authorities have expanded their search here as well.

Roaa is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 130 lbs. and has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a few butterflies tattooed on her hand, and Arabic writing with a crescent moon in the center of her left wrist. She was wearing black overalls with a white shirt when she was last seen.
