Some locations get over 15" of snow

The heavy snow is gradually coming to an end in SE MI and the snowfall totals are pretty amazing. Here are some reports of snow totals so far:

-Howell 15.5”
-Lakeville 12.6”
-Clarkston 12.2”
-Lake Orion 11.7"
-White Lake 11.5"
-Brighton 11.5”
-Holly 11.0”
-Linden 10.2”
-Pinckney 9.6"
-Ann Arbor 9.1"
-Flint 8.4"
-Bloomfield Hills 6.0"
-Farmington Hills 5.0"
-Sterling Heights 5.0"
-Detroit 4.8"
-Eastpointe 4.5"
-Garden City 3.4”
-Saginaw 3.0”

We have had some reports on Facebook from our viewers of similar to at times, but the numbers above are official, from the National Weather Service.

The snow continues to fall in spots as it moves east.  The heavy snow will continue until about 10 PM when it will finally taper off into flurries, which will last until Sunday.

Here is an important note: Temps are below freezing and the roads are slick.  Be careful when driving.
