Today, Monday July 9 is last day to register for primary vote

Today, Monday, July 9 is the last day to register to vote in Michigan's August primary.

You can register by mail, in person at your local clerks office, or by visiting any Secretary of State location.

To be eligible you must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old by election day, which is Tuesday, August 7, 2018. 

You must also be a resident of the city or township where you register.

The state general election is Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
