Wicked Weather Week: The dangers of high-speed, straight-line wind

On Monday we look at one of the real dangers in Michigan is straight-line winds associated to thunderstorms.

Tornados are often the headliners in severe weather, but straight-line winds can do just as much damage.

Last year alone there were 290 local severe wind reports - that accounts for 83 percent of all severe weather reports from the Detroit Weather Service.
